Liza Cruz is one of New York's Finest Artist’s inspired by her experiences in Life and those she encounters. in 2019 Liza also launched Honest Art Studio which began as a virtual platform and provided art lessons for children. As an Artist Liza paints what she feels as the process can often be revealing of the mind and soul. He Art is vibrant, alive and full of texture. She often translates these ideas when teaching. Liza also designed clothing for 2 decades. Yet, after many years designing some of the world's top selling children's clothes, she pursued her lifelong passion for painting and is sharing it with the world. Born to an artistic family in Vilnius, Lithuania which moved to the United States when Liza was 3 yrs old in order to provide greater opportunity for the family. Winner of numerous awards over the early years of her career, Liza was always inspired by surrealism, cubism and abstract art. Liza received her formal artistic training at the School of Visual Arts in New York City.

She works mainly with oil paints and acrylics, though also incorporates other recycled materials such as woods, metals, paper and other textures to enhance the depth and emotion of her work. She is passionate about the environment and believes that if we can take something which isn't wanted or discarded come to life, make it art and beautiful which has purpose, so that others can admire it and love it again. Her work holds a very important symbol of the world and our future.
